As I have researched my family history, I've collected stuff.
Lots of it. Photographs, historical documents, links to useful genealogy websites.
Quite of bit of it has absolutely no relevance to my own family history. But I've kept it, bits and pieces,
stored in plastic files boxes and
on the hard drives of two computers.
It seems like someone should have it. So I want you to take it.
A word about copyright. . .I've taken some of the photos on the site, so technically, within the letter of the law,
I own the copyright. Other photos - the ones taken by professional photographers in the 19th century - are now in the public
domain.
My website is not about making people pay for information about their own families. So if you want a copy of a photo,
just "right click" and save to your PC. Or copy and print the marriage index.
Seriously. That's the point of all this.
I'm just trying to share.
